Foursquare Theatre
Based in Gloucestershire and Bristol, we have worked together in various combinations over the last few years and have come together to create this show. We all have a background in visual, physical contemporary performance and the team’s experience of devised work and clowning have influenced the style.
Emma has worked with numerous artists including Verity Standen and Kid Carpet and most recently on the current tour of The Castle Builder. She has directed productions for organisations including Bristol Old Vic, Tobacco Factory, Farnham Maltings and Travelling Light.
Writer/ dramaturg: Paul Dodgson
Paul is a prolific writer, producer and composer, working for BBC Radio 4, BBC TV, Theatre Royal Bath, Soho Theatre, Salisbury Playhouse and The Nuffield Southampton.
Deviser/ performer: Katy Costigan
Katy trained at Rose Bruford and is a founding member of Filksit Theatre, specialising in work for young audiences using physical performance and multimedia. She tours nationally with Filskit, with their current productions commissioned by The Unicorn and The Egg, Bath. Katy also works on independent projects, most recently performing as a Moomin at the Southbank Centre!
Deviser/ performer: Elise Heaven
Elise is an associate artist at Strike A Light and is a Spark Supported Artist at Pegasus Theatre. Elise has performed as part of Theatre Fest West, touring with Raised Eyebrows’ The Little Bookshop Boy. Elise’s current solo show, Passpawt, received 5 star reviews at Brighton Fringe and after a small preview tour, will be touring nationally in 2018.
Anna trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, graduating with a first class honours degree in Theatre Design. Anna was the recipient of the Prince of Wales Scholarship 2014 and the Margaret Amelia Thomas award 2015. She was also shortlisted for The Linbury Prize for Stage Design 2015.
Christina is Producer and General Manager at Strike A Light, as well as producing independently for contemporary artists and theatre companies. She is currently working on Elise Heaven's She's A Good Boy, Jonny Fluffypunk's How I Came To Be Where I Never Was, Wattle and Daub's The Depraved Appetite of Tarrare The Freak and Bootworks Theatre's The JukeBoxes.
